Way 4: All at Once

A Self Guider would be experienced with every one of the above ways at some point, although they would probably make the most use of way 1. There may be some situations where other ways would be appropriate, and they could tell you why. Perhaps even some Learners might use their initial advantage to gain an even greater advantage over others, with the intention of switching to helping others later.

Imagine there is a person who really values way 1: “Use their advantage to help the group.” Say there is a situation where they have to save two people who have that view. But, in order to save them, they have to take an action following way 2: “See people who do not have that advantage as less than themselves.” Should they do that?

Maybe a Self Guider would think it’s OK.
